Bellevue, WA—May 24, 2006—Intentional Software™ Corporation today announced the appointment of François Stieger to lead its international group as CEO of Intentional Software International Sarl. Stieger brings extensive experience in managing and running international software companies. He will be responsible for managing all elements of international operations, including development of strategic alliances and building international markets for Intentional Software’s technology. In addition he will oversee research and development activities in Budapest, Hungary. Stieger will be based at the newly established international headquarters of Intentional Software International Sarl in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Immediately prior to joining Intentional Software International, Stieger was senior vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Verisign, the leading provider of critical infrastructure security services for the Internet and telecommunication markets. He held this post since April 2003, and was responsible for Verisign’s business throughout that region. Prior to joining Verisign Stieger was a partner of Amadeus Capital, a leading European venture capital firm based in London. In 1996, Stieger established BroadVision’s European operations. Under his management through mid 2001, these operations grew to more than 400 employees and US$104 million annual revenues. He was also personally involved in BroadVision’s very successful initial public offering on NASDAQ in June 1996, and its public offering on the Neuer Markt in Frankfurt in November 1999. On a larger scale from 1987-1992, Stieger established and managed operations of Oracle Corporation as vice president of southern and central Europe. In 1991, Stieger was awarded “Most Valuable Player” by Larry Ellison.
